Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account.
Please see information below on the Sports Premium.
Good attendance is perhaps the most important factor in successful learning. At Alexandra primary school, pupils are encouraged to have 100% attendance.
At Alexandra we are committed to high achievement and equality of opportunity for all. We are aware that our children face barriers to their learning particularly those barriers associated with deprivation and learning English as an additional language.
We are committed to ensuring that our pupils respect and follow the modern British values of individual liberty, democracy, mutual respect, the rule of law and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
Some of our policies are below. They are regularly reviewed and changed by our Governing Body. If you wish to have a paper copy of any of these policies, please request them at reception.
We need to hold personal information about your child on our computer system and in paper records to help us with their educational needs.
Please see below Alexandra Primary School’s E-Safety Policy.
This policy outlines the process and procedure for dealing with complaints made by parents or carers about the school.
